Why join?
As a member you can enjoy...
Quarterly journal the Observer containing articles covering amenity, architectural and environmental issues, conservation area planning matters, advance notice of Eastbourne Society and Heritage Centre talks and events - sent by post;
Free attendance to talks by well-known local speakers on interesting topics and current issues affecting Eastbourne and the surrounding area;
Free admission at Eastbourne Heritage Centre to see the permanent displays about the development and built history of Eastbourne;
Volunteering opportunities at Eastbourne Heritage Centre, including welcoming visitors and introducing the centre, handling sales in the shop and becoming involved
Having a say in local planning matters with involvement in policy issues such as parking, transport, environmental protection and culture, helping the Society influence the future of the town.
Membership runs from January 1st to December 31st, and for 2023 costs £18 for individual membership and £23 for joint membership (two in a household).
